Very old ironstone dish set of 2 oval small plates called "Ravier" in French and one sauce boat with a red pinkish transfer ware, made by the French company Sarreguemines in the early 1900s. This model is called Favori and shows birds and cherries tree blooming branches.
This Favori model available in blue or red transferware, is really sought after by collectors including myself and increasingly difficult to find which explains the high price tag.
Condition: This set is in vintage condition with limited markings. One ravier has 3 black dots that were created during production, the other one has tea stains, The sauce boat a large crack on its feet and some markings inside.
