stunning ironstone bathroom set from the late 1800s / early 1900s comprised of a pitcher and a bowl / basin. This set was made of pink transferware by the French company H. Boulenger & Cie. The pattern name is Nantais which translates to "From the city of Nantes". The design showcases beautiful garden roses. I am also adding a small shaving bowl from the same collection. It does have 2 cracks but can still be used to put cotton balls or a potpourri. A very pretty addition to a country bathroom or bedroom.
I also have the same model available in blue transferware available in my Ruby Lane boutique.
Condition: The set is in good vintage condition considering its age. The pitcher is in very good condition with no chips or hairline. There is a few dark spot on the pitcher that seemed to have been created the production process. The basin has a small hairline. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.
