Very old ironstone set of 6 soup bowls / plates with a blue transfer ware, made by the French company Sarreguemines in the early 1900s. This model is called Favori and shows birds and cherries tree blooming branches. There are 3 different patterns displayed on these plates and they each have a stamp from the manufacturer on their back. Some plates were made in occupied France during WWI so the stamp will be in German.
This Favori model available in blue or red transferware, is really sought after by collectors including myself and increasingly difficult to find which explains the high price tag. I am so grateful I was able to source some pieces which are all available for sale in my boutique.
