An old and totally unique French porcelain enamel plate with chain made in the 1920s / 1930s if not earlier. This slightly convex sign was probably used in a fountain to advise people that the water is not safe to drink (Eau non Potable - the N is missing). It will be really unique to place on a fountain and will be great on any shabby or industrial decor. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.
Condition: This plate is in shabby condition with enamel chips and trust. The enamel chips and rust is mostly located around the 4 holes. Still, the enamel is very bright and the letters are really popping against the white background.
