A gorgeous Art Deco French acid etched glass siphon / seltzer bottle in blue from the 1930s. It is complete with the glass straw. The straw is not original as I have replaced it with a new old stock.
Antique seltzer or "Siphon" as we call them in French in this pyramidal fluted shape are very decorative and sought-after by collectors.
The inscription in the front reads as follow: "Boisson Gazeuses (Sparkling Beverages) - G. Gaudry (Owner) - Sr Satur - Cher (City). There is a different name engraved on the metal top.
Condition: This siphon is in good vintage condition with no cracks and limited scratches. There is some buildup that will appear when the bottle get dry, especially on the bottom. The buildup disappears if you fill your bottle with a clear liquid. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures. Contact me if you need more pictures.
