A lovely set of 3 bowls made in France in the 40s / 50s, probably by Sarreguemine. This pattern is called "torchons" a reference to the stripes in the tea towels. This set includes 3 cafe au lait bowls , all the same size. These bowls do not have a stamp but just the number 4, which refers to the size. Bowls used to range from 1 for the largest size to 7, the smallest one.
I have another set with the same pattern for sale in my boutique.
Condition: These bowls are in good vintage condition with no crack and limited markings. One bowl has a small chip on its feet (Pictures 5, 6)and another one has a making / surface hairline (Picture 7). Click on ZOOM for larger pictures. Contact me if you need more information.
