Antique 19th Century French
Bronze & Glass Jeweled Corona / Crown Lamp Cap
Found in Paris.
Lamp cap dates to the 19th century and was used in a church.
There is a loop on top and I am not sure what that was for; perhaps it hung somewhere near the alter or
possibly caped a lamp outside around the perimeter of a church.
There are 5 "jewels" fronting the crown. Made from brass.
To me, this is unique as I have not found one like this before in my travels.
6 3/4" tall x 4" diameter at the base (see pics. 8&9)
Crown was purchased in Paris, France at an antique shop.
- Crown is in beautiful condition especially considering its age.
- With NO missing rhinestones.
