Dating from the late 1960's to early 1970's. Fabric is a soft easy wear - easy care knit in a pale blue with pink and yellow plaid.
Dress has a mandarin collar, sleeveless with a slightly dropped waist, closing in the back with a long zipper. Flare skirt is a blue with flecks of white while the top is a plaid of pink, yellow and green.
Jacket is long sleeve v style, called the como sweater. Silver tone buttons up the front with an extra button still on the inside. Front and sleeves are plaid while the back is a solid blue.
Label is Alfred Werber, Los Angles.
Lovely condition. Freshly handwashed and ready to wear. The only issue is that at one time it had a defined elastic waist. There is a narrow band of stretched out elastic on the inside. Also the skirt has been hemmed by the original owner.
Sized a vintage 12 but please check the measurements carefully. There is some give to this fabric.
Dress: bust 36, waist 30, hips 44, length 41 inches.
Jacket: bust 38, waist 34, shoulders 18, sleeve 21 1/2, and total length 21 inches.
