From the 1940's a bias cut nightgown by Lady Edso. Body is a pale blue rayon with the bias cut on both sides hem. Upper bodice is a ruffled panel of beige lace with a weave of pink ribbon. Back is a plain deep vee which you see in most of these gowns.
There is some condition issues. There are three small yellowish spots on the body and along the edge of the hem is 3 tiny black spots. It has been given a gentle handsoak so I think the spots are permanent. I have photographed these carefully for your inspection.
Label is Lade Edso. This label was first used in 1941.
Tagged a size 40 but please check the measurements carefully. There is stretch to this fabric and the measurements are taken un-stretched.
Bust is 42, waist 32, hips 44, hem circumference 78 and total length is 57 inches.
