Recently acquired from a clothing store that had been closed for 40+ years. Items were still on the shelves and still folded with their price tags in place.
Fabric is a stretch rayon satin blend. Color is a pale pink trimmed along the sweetheart neckline with beige lace which also accentuates the hem. Front hem has a small center rise. Very narrow adjustable ribbon shoulder straps with metal adjusters.
Still wearing the original price tag which is $2.98.
Maker's label is the red Miss Elaine tag. This red label was used through the 1940's until the early 1950's.
It was very dusty with the major area of soiling in the fold lines. I did remove the price tag and give it a gentle handsoak. There are several streaks of soiling which probably will come off with another soak. On the right cup is 2 holes and further down below the hip area there is some fabric wear.
No size is indicated. Measurements were taken while laying flat and un-stretched. There is a great deal of stretch to this fabric.
Total length measuring from the underarm is 38 inches.
