This authentic rinzu Japanese silk fabric is not only luxurious, it's also incredibly versatile. Perfect as an addition to your gown (fashioned into a stole), re-purposed for casual and on-the-town outfits alike, or used for window dressing and or home upholstery.
Rinzu is a Japanese silk damask which was the predominant textile for kimonos in the Edo period (1603-1867). Fabric is embroidered with peony (botan), plum blossoms and traditional ougi-sensu Japanese folding fans. Same pattern described above is also found throughout directly woven with the fabric. An absolute piece of Japanese art!
