Untreated Dark Blue African Sapphire 18K Gold Ring with Diamonds.
One of the most difficult challenges is finding the perfect gift for the woman who already has a plethora of jewelry, and who understands what luxury is.
The centrepiece of this ring is a 1.60cts, 8.2x6.2 mm, natural, untreated, pear shape African Sapphire. Sapphires were discovered in Nigeria, Africa in the 1990s. The presence of titanium and iron colors blue sapphire. It is the balance of these impurities within the stone that causes such a wide range of blue tones, from bright, clear cornflower blues to deep dark midnight blues.
Accent stones are diamonds, also untreated and mined in Africa, total of 14 rounds, 0.07cts.
Ring is set in 3.75 grams of 18K gold, hallmarked both with the European stamp 750, and US 18K.
Size: 7 US/Canada; O-N1/2 UK Australia; 55 ¼ France; 17 ¼ Germany.
Luxury jewelry gift box included.
Note: No treatment means that the gemstone is completely free from all color, clarity and durability enhancements, such as heat-treatment, beryllium treatment, irradiation, fracture-filling, impregnation, stabilization or any other gemstone treatment. In other words, a non-treated gem has merely been mined and cut.
