Dating to circa 1910, this is a lovely triangular tin box, which opens to reveal the original shop counter top advertising inside the lid, with an image of a village in the Far East, Palm trees and the sea. Advertising Williams's Marzipan Tea-Cakes, priced at 4oz. for 4d. The box is in excellent condition, with some scratches and minor dents to the outside. The hinges at the back are intact and working. The tin box measures 32cms x 18cms x 9cms (12.5 inches x 7 inches x 3.5 inches). Lovely counter top display for your collection - imagine this full of Christmas treats, biscuits or bon bons!
