A fun pair of circa 1815-1825 or so English porcelain dessert dishes, each footed, and each hand painted, one with luscious plums and the other with a lucky pineapple! Each dish is 8.5" round and 2" high, and each is banded in a beautiful shade of pink with gold gilt accent. This charming pair came from the same dessert set, and each is marked with pattern number 4246. They could have been made by Spode, Daniel, or any number of other early English makers.
Condition: there is gilt rubbed off, more on the plum dish than the other, and the plum dish has rubbing on the plums as well. No chips or cracks, though.
