Antique turned head blonde china doll with Alice hairstyle. 15.5 inches. This lovely lady has a sweet and well painted face, with an unusual slightly turned head and a blue molded headband on her Alice hair. She is on a replaced body by Ruth McLanahan. I do not know how she stuffs them as hard as she does, but her bodies are impressive and as good as they come. Her arms and legs are also replacements (very nice gilt on the boots), age unknown, in excellent condition, and suitable for her. She wears antique and vintage clothing: knickers, a petticoat, a dress with a windowpane weave, and a handmade apron with red trim and pockets in a similar yet slightly different weave that subtly complements the dress. Her head is in very good condition with a rub to her tiny nose, and a few rubs to her hair, mostly on the front, but no cracks or chips to report.
