Patsy-type composition doll, (another manufacturer's version of an Effanbee Patsy) no markings, original facial paint, original clothing, although the underwear appears newer. I believe this is a "Sally" by the American Character Doll Co., made in 1931. She is 12 inches tall. Her composition fingers show some wear, tiny shoes and socks are wonderful. The head has a crack along the mold line on each side near the bottom of her head. The mold lines, in general, are not smoothed down much, and so show wear more than the rest of the body, which has its original finish and is in very good condition. On the back of her left leg (this is normally covered by the sock) there is a bit of excess paint. Wonderful shoes and socks that I believe are original.
