German head child doll with a turned head, in excellent condition on pin-jointed kid leather body. 20 inches tall, a deep and wide shoulder plate with a turned head, shorter chubby arms of a paler bisque than the head. Gorgeous face with light gray/blue stationary glass eyes, feathered brows with sheen, finely painted upper and lower lashes. Her dainty mouth is open with 4 teeth showing, and a dimpled chin. She has her original light brown mohair wig with soft curls (it is slightly unruly.) Original leather body sits well and is in excellent condition with only some small patching at elbows. Wearing a wonderful vintage dress with tiny felt flowers, and cotton undergarments. Her knickers have seen better days with some holes and tears. Wearing lovely socks and what I believe are likely the original oilcloth boots. She has a tiny pendant necklace. Her bisque head has no cracks or chips. Right hand has a factory flaw: a small part of her finger was removed from the raw clay. This is hard to see, and is the only imperfection. No marks at all on this little beauty- I was told it was made by Alt Beck, but cannot verify. She is just beautiful!
