Antique celluloid and brass pin for larger doll. This is a very interesting pin, and although there are no markings, it is possibly French or made to be sold in France. There is a Sacred Heart symbol modified by the addition of an anchor, surrounded by tiny leaves, a flower and a few berries on each side. The celluloid has yellowed, giving it the desirable aura of age, and the colors of the design are pleasing albeit somewhat obscured by the celluloid. This measures 1.875 inches by .75 inches. The clasp is soldered to the back, which is a metal I have not identified, and the brass may have a protective varnish, although it has patina in areas.
