Rare dollhouse tradesman in leather clothing. This very handsome blonde fellow is 5.75 inches tall, has a long beard and what may be glue remnants of a more extensive beard. Cloth body, with bisque lower arms and legs, all in excellent condition. He wears a very unusual outfit of leather pants, a long leather coat trimmed with braided yarn, a leather apron, a cloth shirt collar, a printed vest, leather breeches and black wool stockings or leggings ( that is what they were called, although by our current standards we would call them gaiters) over his little pointed heeled boots and molded herringbone patterned socks. Clothing has been quite carefully made, not easily removed. I have researched what role this man has in the household and cannot identify with any certainty, but am thinking he may be a knife sharpener. If your dollhouse has some acreage, he could also be a groundskeeper. Boots and hair are lightly glazed, all else is tinted bisque.
