Kestner character boy, model 260. This 25 inch young boy is going to be your next heartthrob, and if you have any large girls pining for a friend...well, he's the one. With blue/grey sleep eyes in pretty much perfect condition, working well, eye wax all present, original eyelashes all present, a delightful healthy flush to his cheeks, slightly unruly original mohair wig. Bisque in perfect condition, no chips, cracks or hairlines. His composition body has its original finish and appears to have never been played with. Model 260 has the distinction of being one of the last few Kestner made before his business closed in the 1930's, and there were many sizes of this model. This particular little man has so much presence! and someone thought highly enough of him to make him this darling outfit of corduroy pants with suspenders, matching colored cotton socks, vintage little boy's shirt, and an undershirt modified to fit (I cannot get it over his head). His batiste undershorts may be original. Wearing leather boots marked 77 on bottom that fit perfectly. Original? I do not know. He is marked JDK 260 on his head, with a red stamped "Made in Germany" on his lower back. His arms, at the shoulders, are slightly loosely strung, and his left index finger has little bit of wear at the tip.
