Bonnet head doll with gold lustre bow. This very endearing little parian lady with a molded bonnet is 11.5 inches tall. She is on her original body, in excellent condition with no chip or cracks to her bisque. Her bisque arms end in spoon hands, and her legs are possibly old replacements. There has been repaint, long ago, and there are some chips to the paint. They really do not detract and somehow those tiny feet add to her many charms. Her clothing is sewn on, consisting of a sheer overskirt (appears shortened at the waist), a delicious matching petticoat and knickers. Of course, she is not wearing a blouse because her shoulderplate is so much fun to look at :a pink bow with gold luster tails. Her bonnet is ruffled and decorated with an intricate floral incised pattern. A delightful bonnet head to add to your collection. No marks, but her right arm has a "0" at top. Almost certainly a Hertwig.
