German Parian Handsome Dashing Gentleman with Sculpted Cafe au lait hair, 19 inches tall and was made by C.F. Kling. Known as the Dresden Gent, this man has a molded shirt front with a gold-trimmed collar and a tie with diagonal blue stripes. His incredible hair, in a dramatic side part, has deeply indented curls and distinct comb marks all over. Possibly his original body: obviously a lady's body with a well formed behind, factory made. His upper arms are replaced and lower arms are possibly original, (or not) but they are lovely and the correct scale for a man; the bisque is slightly different in color from the shoulderhead. His lower legs have socks sewn on, and he is wearing truly wonderful leather boots with the tiniest of buttons. Silk velvet jacket, wool trousers and cotton shirt were made for him as likely replacements for original clothing, wool jersey one piece underwear too. I believe the silk vest is much older than the rest, possibly original to him and antique, with old brass buttons. His porcelain is perfect, as are his arms. I see no problems with his body. This very special man, who can be easily seen in the pages of a nineteenth century novel, is going to flirt with all the ladies and win the heart of more than one.
