French all bisque miniature flapper dollhouse doll. An adorable tiny girl, 5.25 inches tall, with painted blue eyes and an intelligent face. Her mint-green silk dress is very 1920's, and indeed this rare French doll was made by Jules Verlingue, between 1915 and the mid 1920's. Clothing was handmade for her and is sewn on. She has her original mohair wig, and there is a peach silk ribbon bow to keep her in style. She has very detailed hands, but her arms are of a bisque that is of lesser quality than the rest of her. She is in excellent condition, strung with elastic. Molded, painted boots that have little details indicating a side opening, and white socks. She has the Verlingue trademark anchor on her back neck, as well as a word above that I cannot read.
