This very nice Victorian bracelet was probably given to someone to express good luck on an important upcoming event. Pressed firmly behind the crystal is a sweet little four leaf clover. It is sitting firmly on a black piece of silk. The top madallion is lovely and is a high relief spray of flora. There is a nice twisted gold rope decoration around the bezel and the sides are hand etched.
The bracelet has 2 hinges and when the finding is released from the back it opens perfectly. There is a key in hole button which is adjustable as seen in photos.
The bracelet is meant for someone with a small wrist. Being the bracelet adjusts so small, it might have been for a young woman, child or perhaps just a small Victorian woman. The inside measurement is 6 1/4" so will fit a 6 inch wrist or smaller..
The gold is testing 10-12K and weighs 15.60 grams. The gold is in excellent condition with no dings or dents. There are a few light scratches on the crystal however much more noticeable in photos.
The bracelet came from the UK however has no hallmarks.
Circa 1880 ~ Victorian and unique.
