These luscious Japanese saltwater pearl earrings are decadent. Each cluster earring holds 7 round creamy pearls. They are gold backed and beautifully made. Each pearl measures 7.5 mm so they are a nice size. The pearls are creamy and beautiful with hues of pink, apricot and peach.
I had my master jeweler change the original screwback wires to nice long great quality shepard wires. They are 14K gold. The old wires stamped Japan and K14. I have found that today's woman really do not wear screwback wires very often and I find these new wires safe, comfortable and very easy to wear.
The earrings dangle 1" from the top of the wire. The pearl portion measures 7/8" x 7/8" across.
The earrings are a great weight and each earring weighs 4.1 grams for a total of 8.2 grams.
Pristine condition with no apologies to be made.
Circa 1950, Japanese in origin.
