Have you ever seen anything like this before? This is absolutely Fabulous! Art Deco is my passion and in all of my years in and around Antiques I have never come across another necklace like this before. There are 19 green cut and faceted paste stones which are bezel set in Sterling and hang from an intricate faux pearl collar. These paste stones are far superior to Rhinestones.. The metal has tested for Sterling Silver. The green stones graduate slightly. The largest measures 1 1/8" but hangs nearly 1 3/4" when you measure from where it attaches to the main portion of the necklace. The next dangle 1 1/4" and slowly graduate down to a 1" dangle. The necklace is a very wearable length and measures 16" long. The faux pearls are put together in a mesh like design. The total width of the necklace including the dangle and the mesh portion measures 2 1/4" at the longest portion.
The necklace is in very good condition. The only thing to mention would be that a few of the faux pearls have some missing coating however difficult to notice and extremely easy to overlook when you consider the uniqueness of this dynamite piece. This is Circa 1920, flapper Era, one of a kind and Wonderful. Questions are always welcome.
