This is a very nice ring. Although the stone looks like a diamond, it is hand cut paste. It is set in a nice 14K rose gold setting. The ring is hallmarked 3 times. Stamped 14K, a crown with 2 arrows and a hallmark I am not familiar with. The paste stone is large and is equivalent to a 2 carat diamond.
It is a US size 11 1/2 and weighs 4.2 grams. Circa 1910 ~ Edwardian period
Likely European in Origin.
The ring visually looks much heavier than it is. The paste stone does have a tiny nibble on the edge of the girdle which really is only visible when viewed through a jewelers loupe. Other than that, perfect condition. Questions are always welcome and encouraged.
