This is very difficult to part with... It is so well made! When it is anywhere near the sun this sparkles like crazy! I will say, it is better in person than what my photos show. The entire piece is covered with rhinestones, all original. The back of the brooch near the fold over clasp there is a capital F or B. I have had an email from a gentleman who thinks this is Dujay. Another email from a woman who strongly believes this is Coro. Being there is only that one F or B, it may be the artist initial? It is difficult to know for sure. I will let the high end costume collectors continue to send me emails, please. I would love to get to the bottom of this. It is magnificent.
It is large and impressive. It measures 3 1/2" long x 1 7/8" across. Not a single stone missing. This is Rhodium plated, possibly over silver. It is a glorious brooch in mint condition with no apologies to be made.
Circa 1945, Mint condition. Questions are always welcome and encouraged.
