I have had several Trifari Jelly Bellies the past 20 years but this is the first Corocraft I have had. The duck was hand painted with beautiful and realistic enamel colors. A large lucite belly is safely secured inside of a rose gold over sterling silver setting. Rhinestones adorn his wings, tail, foot and around his neck. Clearly this is a proud male. The pin back has a locking C-clasp which is in perfect working order.
Designed by It is patent number 137356 issued to Adolph Katz on February 22, 1944. The piece is marked with the Coro Craft / Pegasus / Sterling plaque.
Excellent Vintage Condition with no apologies to be made. The piece was a bit tricky to photograph but the lucite is super clear and without scratches or damage. He measures 2 1/4" x 2" tall. American made, Circa 1945. Wonderful... Questions are always welcome and encouraged.
