A highly sought after Duette set which is signed Coro. This wonderful piece was patented on June 26th 1938 and was designed by Gene Verrecchio. The piece is just beautiful and can be worn together as one very large brooch, or separated and worn as 2 dress clips. The size is impressive and it measures 3" x 1 1/2" across when together. When the clips are separated, each measures 2 1/4" long. The metal is gold vermeil over silver. The back portion is all Rhodium plated. The rhinestones are wonderful are still very sparkly. There are only a few slightly darkened stones but do not distract and are perfectly acceptable considering its age. Both center flowers Tremble perfectly. It really is just a beautiful piece which is in Very good Vintage condition. The brooch is art deco period and impressive.
Please Note: There is just a bit of gold wash loss. It is far more apparent in these enlarged photos than in person. Questions are always welcome and encouraged.
