This is the first of it's kind I have owned.. This extremely well made bracelet is finely made. The hinges which attach the links are so fluid. It not only feels fabulous on your wrist but the moment you have this in your hand you know it is top quality...
The bracelet has 5 Character's, one on each link. There is the Llama in the center, an Aztec symbol, a Chief and 2 sphinx cats at the back. All of the applied character's are solid 18K Yellow Gold. The push in clasp is the best I've seen. Tongue in groove is amazing and closes with a perfect snap. The original safety chain is in place.
Hallmarks, hallmarks... It is marked 18K, Sterling, 925, JFG, Peru and lastly an MR in a circle. The 18K Gold accents are Thick and Solid. I believe they were each very cleverly riveted to the Sterling portion however it is hidden and there is no sign of the attachment from the back. The bracelet is wide and heavy... The center link measures 1 full inch. The next 2 links each measure 7/8" and the last 2 cat links measure 3/4." These links were measured at their widest portions. The bracelet measures 6 5/8" long and curves so nicely. It will easily fit a small or medium wrist. If you have a large wrist, it might be a tight fit for you. The bracelet has wonderful weight and is 42 grams. Circa 1920-1930, Art Deco Period, Peruvian in Origin. An outstanding piece. Questions are always welcome.
