This lovely little bag is from my private collection. I bought it about 8 or 9 years ago and have really enjoyed it. Folks notice this bag and I received quite a few compliments on it. This bag was beaded with those wonderful multi colored blue carnival beads. They are the glass beads that change in color depending on how the light hits it. They appear blue and shift to purple, magenta and many other colors. A bit like Aurora Borealis rhinestones change in color. The purse was not only beaded but it also has beautiful (and very tiny hand stitched petite point) flowers on both sides. A bouquet of assorted flowers if you will, including open blooming roses, pansies and so many more. It must have taken a great deal of time to make this bag. The top opens with a spring loaded mechanism. Inside there is blue satin with a metal zipper so items can be kept zipped up and safe. I used to like to keep my keys zipped up so I knew exactly where they were. The bag is in very good condition. There are a couple of beads that have lifted a tiny bit just at the top of the bag but one or two tiny little stitches and they would once again lay flat. There are no missing beads on the bag. The handle is completely beaded. The metal is a gold finish and there is no loss. The inside of the bag is clean however there is what appears to be a glue residue of some sort which may have been from its original sticker. I bought it this way and it never bothered me. I believe it can be removed with some warm water and a bit of soap. I will leave this to the new owner. The purse is a very nice size and hangs 13" from the top of the handle to the bottom of the bag. Without the handle it measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/4" This can be used as an evening bag with your pretty little black dress, or with a simple T-shirt and jeans (as I have always used it.) I am actually pricing this for exactly what I paid all those years ago. Please do feel free to ask questions. Please Note: The purse is actually a much deeper cobalt blue color. My camera seems to have washed out the true deep blue color. It is much nicer in person.
