This is a wonderful 1940's Marcel Boucher Brooch. It holds the earliest Boucher mark, the Phrygian Cap mark as it is referred to. The brooch is set in a silver toned metal which is rhodium plate finished. It has really large open backed and un-foiled faceted pink stones. The pin back is in perfect working order and the brooch is really in pristine condition. It is a large piece but not Super heavy so it can be worn easily on a light weight sweater or top without pulling. It measures a full 3" long x 2" across at its widest portion. An outstanding piece which has lots of sparkle. Circa 1940, sits right on the Art Deco / Retro Period. Questions are always welcome.
