Measuring slightly over one-and-one-quarter inches across, this beautiful nineteenth-century coral cluster brooch is larger than the usual. The center button alone measures 13 millimeters across and is orbited by three rows of perfectly matching dark salmon color cabochons on a gold frame from which dangles a single coral drop. A strikingly beautiful antique adornment most likely of Italian origin.
I adore these mid-to-late 19th-century coral cluster brooches, and this one is especially appealing because of it's larger size and beautifully well-matched deep orange coral. Bold and bellisima!
High quality genuine salmon coral, NOT dyed.
'C' clasp closure
Dangle drop is 20mm long
Signs of repair on back not visible when worn. Please see photos, they are part of the description.
