A vintage exquisite Chinese double-faced Suzhou silk beautifully hand-embroidered art "A Galloping Horse" tabletop screen, executed masterfully with very fine split silk threads over a translucent fabric. (Attributed to famous paintings of Xu Beihong 1945). In this case, multiple overlapping uses of silk threads are used to give the body a visible depth. This magnificent art piece is signed, also is marked with a red seal stamp, a collectible item in excellent, used condition. The embroidery piece is protected by two pieces of curved glass and then fixed on a beautiful handcrafted revolving redwood frame, with a hand carved decorative wooden stand (actually 3 separate and interlocking pieces make the gorgeous stand, then the pin to the mid-bottom of the frame put in the hand drilled hole keeps it together while allows it to rotate). The pattern on both sides is exactly the same and hard to identify the front and reverse side. 8.5"W x 13.50" H x 3.25"D .
