This is a vintage offset print of Jim Daly etching. It is NOT a digital print. It is a vintage Mid-Century etching offset print inside a wooden frame with glass signed Jim Daly. It measures 23.5’’x17.5”. In traditional etching process, the artist would cover a metal plate such as copper, steel or zinc with wax and then he or she would create the art in scratching the waxy ground to bare metal and the plate would be dipped in acid leaving behind only the art created by the artist in washing off the wax. The plate would be put in the printing press with high pressure and they would create as many copies as the artist would allow them to do. After a while the plate is worn-out and if the prints are examined very closely, they are usually minuscule differences. The artwork is in very good condition, the wooden frame has very small few spots easy to cover.
