Made by Godinger Silver Art, a company founded in 1972 by Arnold Godinger and William Lefkowitz of New York. Dating from the 1980s, this bud vase features pitcher styling with a gracefully curved handle. Bottom is weighed for stability and felted to protect surfaces. Measures approx. 7.25" tall x 2.25" across base (19cm x 6cm). Small monogram on front reads "C.P.C. 84" (since the vase was purchased in New Orleans, this may have been a favor given out by a Mardi Gras club). Has some scratching and a couple of stubborn spots of tarnish; otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
