Vintage sterling silver necklace features a charm of a tiny drunk (or at least very happy) man beside a gas lamp-topped street sign that reads "New Orleans" on one side and "Bourbon" on the other. Made in Mexico, but this sort of jewelry used to be sold throughout the French Quarter in the 1940s-1970s. Charm pendant measures approx. 1" x 0.5" (3cm x 1.7cm). Chain measures approx. 16" (41cm) with spring ring clasp. Tag on clasp reads 925 MEX with a series of numbers and letters, probably the maker's license number. In excellent vintage condition.
