Known as La Calavera Catrina, this glamorous skeleton lady is an important figure in Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations. This handmade ceramic Catrina figurine dances in a full-skirted dress in a rainbow of colors and a cobalt-blue hat atop her skull head. Figurine measures approx. 10.5" tall x 8.5" wide (26.6cm x 21.6cm). Marked on bottom: "MEXICO." A small chip has been repaired on the right front side of her skirt (see photos); otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
