This very rare set of fortune-telling cards features Art Deco designs and characters who look like they stepped out of the 1920s-1930s. Deck of 52 cards is published by Piatnik, Austria; undated. Instructions are in German and appear to be incomplete, but the cards are labeled in five languages including English, and the designs lend themselves to intuitive interpretation. Box shows some shelf wear; cards are in excellent vintage condition.
