Dating from the early twentieth century, the Little Webster Lilliput Dictionary contains 18,000 words and their definitions in a package the size of a matchbox. Miniature book is bound in brown leather and embossed with gold lettering. Measures approx. 2" x 1.5" x 0.75" (5cm x 3.8cm x 1.9cm). Printed in Germany. Undated, but rear flyleaf bears a pencil inscription dated 1932. Covers show quite a bit of wear; originally had a snap closure, but female snap is absent; front cover has tiny speckles of white paint. Otherwise in very good vintage/antique condition.
