This magnificent sterling silver charger was made in Mexico by Maciel Silver Co., circa 1940. This entire piece was made by hand, both chasing and engraving as well as the forming of the piece. The outer border is chased with six flower designs. The main focal point of the charger is the center design which is a hand made reproduction of the Aztec calendar.
