This magnificent sterling silver serving fork was made in Newcastle , England in 1803. It was created by master silversmith Thomas Watson. The design is the classic fiddle and shell pattern with an engraving of a bird's head at the top. The shell motif continues on the back of the fork, at the top and at the bowl.
