This is quite a simple, elegant late Victorian, (circa 1900), 14K Gold stick pin set with a rich burgundy single garnet. The garnet is held by six prongs. The garnet setting is .36 inches in diameter, although the garnet itself is more of a rectangle. The stick pin measures in length 2 ¾ inches long. The shaft of the 14 K gold pin itself has a lovely barley twist in the middle of the stick pin. It is very well made, in good condition and clearly looked after.
It is so chic in its simplicity that it could well have been intended for a man. But whether male or female, this smart looking stick pin would look wonderful on a coat or shirt lapel or a nice sweater.
