Knots are forever! For sale is a fabulous Vintage Mexican silver cuff bracelet from the 1970s. Made of sterling silver, this unique hand-wrought piece has a bold, 3-dimensional design. The band is comprised of 2 hollow tubes that come together and intertwine, forming a large love knot at the center. At the back of the bracelet is an opening where it can be easily slipped on and off the wearer's wrist and the inside of the cuff is stamped "AT," "925" and "MEXICO." The eye-catching design looks absolutely fabulous when worn and the fashionable bracelet would make a perfect statement piece to add to any collection! The bracelet measures slightly more than 7 inches around with a 1-inch gap for slipping on and off. The top of the bracelet with the double knot measures 1 3/8 inches tall by 5/8 inch wide. The tubular band measures 3/8 inches wide. The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no damage to the sterling cuff. There is a slight patina that I have left. A 'knot' has been a symbol of love, friendship and eternity, and widely used as a sentimental motif. The bracelet is substantial, weighing 47.5 grams.
