These are clearly 1950s fine earrings in beautifully crafted gold and pearl, no lady would dare venture out without having them on her ears. Clip earrings, as these are, were the norm during that final era of glamour. The beautifully curled, leafy fronds of 14K gold cradle a 6 to 6.5 fine cultured pearl. Weight is 8.65 grams for the pair. These lovely vintage earrings feature a starburst of fronds to decorate each earlobe. The clip earrings measure approximately 1 1/8" long and 5/8” wide and are stamped “14K” on the back. In very good vintage condition, the graceful and feminine design of these earrings adds a bit of spice to the classic look of 14K yellow gold and pearls. If you love the earrings but clip earrings are not your style, they can be converted to pierced. A great addition to any earring collection!
