Late Victorian jewelry began to glitter a bit more than during the past decades as does the rose cut diamond set in the star centered in this 9K yellow gold bar brooch. The diamond is set in a star encircled by Etruscan beading with bars on either side extending to floral endpoints. Intricately crafted in yellow gold the bar brooch retains its safety chain and pin. The brooch closes securely with its original c-clasp. In excellent condition the brooch measures approximately 1 7/8 inches wide by 5/8 inches wide. Hallmarked "TH 9CT." Possibly made in the US. Minimal wear and a great find for the antique seeker's jewelry collection.
