Beautiful Victorian 14K yellow gold locket set with 2 old cut diamonds approx. 6 & 8pt, 2 natural no heat rubies approx. 7 & 9 pt, pear natural no heat blue sapphire approx. 30pt.
Diamonds are white with no yellow, rubies are nice pink-red, sapphire is dark but not very dark, it shows much more blue in real life than on the pictures.
There is small chip on the table on the left ruby.
Locket is approx. 33mm x 22mm excluding jump ring and bail and excluding lock pegs.
Total length is approx. 39mm.
Bail ring is small and will need chain with small or elongeted jump ring.
Locket is in exceptional condition.
It only has very very light signs of normal use.
Original Satin finish is fully intact, it shows almost no wear even on the bail, jump ring and lock pegs.
Inside there is 1 frame with glass.
Hinge and lock are in perfect condition.
Victorian lockets in this condition are not easy to find.
Workmanship and design looks Russian.
Locket is unmarked, tested 14k+ Gold.
