Steiff Original Teddy - the first of the heart-faced or masked Original Teddies
- retains ID:

--- remnant of a yellow tag with 'Steiff' printed visible
--- retains his original red satin ribbon
- 19 cm size/ 7" tall standing
- honey/light beige color
- Mohair with velous paw pads
- the heart-faced OT's were introduced in 1966, concurrent with the "classic head" Steiff original teddies"
- paw pads were felt until 1970 when velour started to be used in 1970
- This bear was made somewhere between 1970 and about 1975 based on his button and velour paw pads
- dark brown flossed nose
- 5-way jointed
- excelsior stuffed
- he is very good or better vintage condition, with a little bit of play wear and a little grazing on his belly and a very sweet expression
