For your consideration is a vintage Easter postcard titled; "A Happy Easter." It also reads on the bottom: "All Easter Blessings, All Easter Cheer, All Your Own Wishes I Wish You Dear." It displays a cute little girl with a pretty blue bonnet on her head. She is carrying some lovely red tulips in both hands & a basket filled with white eggs. (Maybe she is getting ready to color the eggs!) Very precious! This is a unsigned Ellen H. Clapsaddle postcard, also! The colors are still vibrant & colorful, also! There is writing on the back, a postmark dated 1916 & a green Washington one cent stamp. It also has the International Art Publishers Symbol. (Please see pictures!) It is approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
For a postcard that is 103 years old, this postcard is in very good, vintage & collectible condition. There is light wear overall from age & use, however! Such as: Light yellowing, lightly scuffed corners & edges, & there is a crease on the bottom left corner. All flaws noted are minor only mentioned for accuracy.
